Abbott to Launch the First “Glucose Sport Biosensor”

Abbott announced plans to launch the novel “Libre Sense Glucose Sport Biosensor” (view website), which is intended to provide glucose readings and actionable insights to athletes with and without diabetes. Libre Sense has already received CE Mark, and Abbott said the product will be launched “in the coming weeks” to eight European countries via Abbott’s non-exclusive partnership with Phil Southerland’s Supersapiens (view Supersapiens website).
